The viberant Church in the heart of the community

Part of St Matthews CofE church in Rugby, Overslade Community Church was set up a few years ago to serve the local people of Overslade the Church is based in the Community Centre itself. Our vision statement says it all so we get involved in all that is going on in the Community and the Residents Associations and try to take a full part in the life of the estate to be there for people in the good times and the bad to laugh and cry together.

Regular activities every Sunday morning 10.30 plus 4th sunday afternoon "Funday Sunday" 4.30 a family worship over tea.

Mid week small groups in peoples homes Monday evenings 7.15 and Wednesday mornings 10.00. Tuesday midweek at the Community centre 6.30 also includes a meal.

Friday night is youth night with three seperate age related clubs see details under youth section and a family night the Friday before each half term break.

Our toddlers group is jointly run with the Community Association and called "Playbox" see youth/adult section.

Our over 50's group "Oasis" is jointly run with the Residents Association and the Community Association

We are a friendly contempery Community Church and give everyone a warm welcome.
